About Us
the Tiller
Since September 2013, The Tiller Coffee has been cultivating good times in our shipping container at 81 Mina Parade, Alderley.
the Experience
Our shipping container is The Tiller’s heart, parked on Mina Parade between Alderley and Newmarket stations on the Ferny Grove line. Inside, ‘Old Greg,’ our legendary La Marzocco, crafts every Semi-Pro brew with precision and passion, turning beans into moments of joy.
Our courtyard’s industrial yet inviting vibe, lush with plants, fresh air and bathed in Brisbane sunshine sets the stage for connection, where every flat white, gooey toastie, or slice of decadent banana bread feels like a warm hug.
It’s the spot locals love for its vibrant energy and occasional train passing by for a touch of charm.
the Container
This iconic shipping container has stories to tell. Once crossing oceans, it now anchors one of Brisbane’s best coffee experiences at 81 Mina Parade. Painted refreshed vibrant orange, nodding to its past and powered by ‘Old Greg,’ we serve up ethically sourced Semi-Pro coffee alongside locally crafted treats from a small but tasty menu.
